About
Once upon a time, a girl was making jaw breakers for her friends in the middle of the night. Her sister and brother kindly offered their help. As they wondered why their jaw breakers were more like marshmallow fluff, the girl’s siblings began to give themselves ‘Asian’ names. The brother became Sieu Phuong, some words found on their calender. The sister became Yong Fei, some more words found on their calender. Now, the jaw breakers were being shaped into little dogs and dragons as they laughed at their own cleverness. The girl wanted an ‘Asian’ name too and shouted the fist thing that came into her head. FATTY DUMPLING.
P.S. The candy tasted awful. And they were dumped.
Aww, that’s cute =). But don’t you all already have Asian names?
Shhh…ignore the irony here ;3
Beautiful blog! I’ll be stopping by every now and then :)
Thankee! And likewise ;]
Hilarious story, what is your real name? In fact, I can guarantee it is even more beautiful! I loved childhood!
I’m glad that you liked your childhood, considering that you work with kids ;p I feel kind of embarrassed now, though, since the fatty dumpling-jaw breakers story actually happened 2 or 3 years ago…and I wasn’t a kid haha! Call me Tina.
I just read your whole blog. I think I am in love. I’ll be back to follow your story. You are a very fun writer.

Love it, I’m sure my brother called me ‘fatty dumpling’ or something equally insulting at some point during our childhood.
